Election Commission has announced that elections for three vacant seats of Rajya Sabha will be conducted on 30th April. Sources say, three seats are getting vacant on 21 st of April. This declaration is based on the High Court judgment that elections are to be conducted before the declaration of results of the new Vidhan Sabha elections. Sources say before this the program was to have a nomination from present members and elections after the formation of the new Vidhan Sabha. Sources say, initially it was planned to have elections on 12th April but after getting advice from Law Minister that new member be given chance to elect new Rajya Sabha members, the election was deferred but after the order of High Court, advice of Election Commission was withdrawn and new dates fixed
