BJP now thinks that change of guard is the solution of all anti-incumbency and will help in retaining power. Sources say rumors are floating around to change the CM of Himachal Pradesh. State spokesman Randhir Sharma and state forest minister Rakesh Pathania in between issued a statement that the next state elections will be contested under the leadership of Jairam Thakur. In the meantime, sources say BJP high command has issued instructions not to issue such statements?
