The founder of the Democratic Progressive Azad Party, Gulam Nabi Azad has announced to contest from the Anantnag seat a source says. The Congress, National Conference and PDP were in talk as I.N.D.I.A. constituents to field combined candidates, but it seems the talk has not brought any positive results yet, a source says. PDP is not ready to leave its traditional seat of Anantnag source says. Congress and NC also claim for the seat source says. In the meantime, the PDP has also announced that the party will contest all three seats, the valley source says.
