    The vacancies in the Rajya Sabha are not new but a regular feature as per rule, but this time it is likely to change the allegiance of many due to the emergence of BJP in different states. States are not in the position to repeat candidates because the party they belong are not having sufficient numbers to send them back. Samajwadi Party was having a very good strength in the last assembly, but this time the number has diminished. This has blocked the fate of many; hence, the aspirants wanted to go back to the Upper House. Perturbed with the situations, some are also looking towards party able to adjust them and nominate for Rajya Sabha. Sources say, Naresh Aggarwal, sitting MP of Rajya Sabha of SP is one of them, who is searching for another home to get nomination.
